
Amherst Shore Provincial Park is located on the Sunrise Trail along Nova Scotia's Northumberland Shore. The park offers great camping, beach access and wonderful walking trails.
Perched on the coast of the Northumberland Strait, the park is home to some of the warmest waters north of the Carolinas. Swimming, beachcombing, hiking, biking and wildlife viewing are just a few enjoyable pastimes at the Amherst Shore Provincial Park. If you wish to stay, the park offers a 45-site campground for both tenting and RV's.
Amherst Shore Provincial Park is located on Route 366, the Sunrise Trail, 36 km (22 mi.) east of Amherst and 26 km (16 mi.) west of Pugwash.
