Facilities and Services

Open mid-May through mid-October the park offers hiking trails, a 90 site campground, two picnic areas and an unsupervised beach.  Recently, a playground, and shower and flush toilet facility have been added.

Camping reservations can be made after April 30th

Rising majestically from the shores of the Bay of Fundy, Five Islands Provincial Park is one of Nova Scotia's premiere outdoor destinations. The park features 90 meter (300 ft.) sea cliffs overlooking the world's highest tides, a spectacular setting for camping or any of the many opportunities that abound for hiking, beachcombing, rock collecting, clam digging, and ocean kayaking.

How to Find Us

The park is located just 32 km (20 mi) east of Parrsboro and 57 km (35 mi) west of Truro, on Route 2, "The Glooscap Trail". Route 2 is linked to Highway 104 at Exit 4 in Amherst, Exit 5 near Springhill, and Exit 11 at Glenholme.
