Tidal Bore Rafting is a one-of-a-kind adventure unique to Nova Scotia's Shubenacadie River. As the incoming Fundy tide meets the outgoing river, the river begins to reverse its flow, resulting in a crest of water that moves upriver. This crest of water is the tidal bore. Following the tidal bore the river begins to rapidly fill creating a madness of rapids for guests aboard professionally guided, motorized zodiacs to enjoy.

Following a thrill of a lifetime relax and unwind in a cosy and comfortable chalets located on the shore of the Shubenacadie River. One and two bedroom cottages are available.

Tidal Bore Rafting Park and Rafters Ridge Cottages offers a wonderful location for a family retreat, a romantic get-away, or a place for business meetings and staff retreats. Every cottage has a double hide-a-bed sofa in the living room. Cots, playpens and highchairs are available for your use. Daily light housekeeping is provided.

Enjoy a home cooked meal at the newly opened licensed restaurant. Choose between the upper or lower viewing deck with an unparalleled view of the Shubenacadie River.
